Jeff Montague is an architect with MATHISON | MATHISON ARCHITECTS.
Jeff’s thoughtful, sensitive, in-depth, analytical approach to design successfully blends his appreciation for modern design and the elements of nature. He strives for design solutions that don’t rely on unnecessary embellishment- solutions that evoke a sense of belonging or familiarity for the user, while emphasizing only that which is essential.
He earned his Bachelor in Architecture degree at the University of New Mexico and completed his Master in Architecture degree at the University of Colorado at Denver with distinction. Currently, he is licensed in Michigan and Colorado, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Additionally, Jeff has considerable leadership experience serving as a past Secretary and Board Member of AIA Grand Rapids, Board President of Creative Arts Repertoire Ensemble, and Board Member of the East Grand Rapids Community Foundation.
Jeff was drawn to MATHISON | MATHISON ARCHITECTS for the opportunity to participate in a dynamic and collaborative studio environment with a vibrant future. His professional vision is one that stays true to core principles: a dedication to providing a thoughtful, in-depth, service-oriented approach while also staying true to the design ideology.
When he’s not devoting his time to work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling the world, playing golf and engaging in meditation.
