Mathison | Mathison Architects, an architecture and interior design firm based in Grand Rapids, announced today that Megan Feenstra Wall, AIA, and Ben Franceschi, AIA, are now principal owners in addition to firm co-founders, Thomas R. Mathison, FAIA and Evan Mathison.
Both will continue to provide leadership and expertise with their clients and projects in addition to new firm management responsibilities.
”Since joining MMA I’ve felt confident that this team is one that shares my core values for design and life. I’m thrilled to be a principal and plan to invest in this organization for years to come,” shared Feenstra Wall.
”The unique approach to design and to care for our clients is something really special. I plan to grow as an architect and a person with this team long into the future,” Franceschi stated.
Feentra Wall joined MMA in 2014 and has provided design and management expertise on a range of MMA projects, including educational, cultural, commercial, residential, and non-profit projects. She is the current and first woman President of AIA Grand Rapids, and also serves on a number of local and national boards and committees.
After collaborating with Evan Mathison in Boston at Maryann Thompson Architects, Franceschi joined MMA in 2016 and has served as lead designer and project architect on a number of MMA’s most notable projects, including commercial, cultural, and residential projects.
”Ben and Megan have both been vital to the success of MMA thus far and I’m confident that, as principals, they will continue to help guide our team in the right direction,” shared Evan Mathison.
”Expanding MMA’s leadership team makes our firm stronger to meet the opportunities of the future,” stated Tom Mathison.
