Brooklyn Bridge Park Project Wins AIANY Design Award

The Brooklyn Bridge Park Project in Brooklyn, NY received a Design Award from the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter. Maryann Thompson is the Architect of Record, and Evan Mathison, of MMA was the project designer and project manager.

Juror comments: Exactly the right level of design needed was achieved here. The program developed is also a sign of an envisioned agenda.

AIA New York’s annual Design Awards Program recognizes outstanding architectural design by AIA New York Chapter members, New York City based architects in any location, and work in New York City by architects around the globe. The purpose of the awards program is to honor the architects, clients, and consultants who work together to achieve design excellence.
