We are seeking a creative, collaborative, detail-oriented, graphics-forward thinker with 3-5 years of experience to join our team as an Architectural Designer / Architect. Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and work samples HERE.

The Architectural Designer / Architect is involved with the design and documentation of architectural projects from conception through completion to create beautiful, functional, safe, and sustainable buildings and projects, and collaborates with the team so the projects meet the goals and objectives of the client, including financial, schedule, and contractual constraints.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participation in client presentations throughout design phases, from visioning to construction administration.
  • Preparation of renderings, design drawings, and precedent studies for design meetings.
  • Material, product, and systems research.
  • Construction documentation for bidding and construction.
  • Site visits, field measurements, and construction administration tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in architecture required, 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Alignment with MMA core values and mission.
  • Strong graphic skills and proficiency in Adobe, Revit, and other design software.
  • LEED or WELL accreditation a plus
  • Strong technical skills and a developing knowledge of architectural practice and workflow, construction methods and materials, and building codes and standards.
  • Strong communicator with a responsive, flexible, and collaborative attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills, with attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively in a creative, iterative design process.
  • Self-motivated and curious with a desire to explore, experiment, and co-create.
