Traverse City Whiskey Company (TCWC), a small batch whiskey company located in the heart of Leelanau County, is expanding to a new location that will house the future of its distillery production, operations, and retail experience.

Traverse City Whiskey Company
Overview

This new project includes the transformation of a 34,000 square foot former cherry processing facility into a state-of-the-art production, processing, and distribution facility. A 10,000 square foot addition will house new offices, tasting rooms, retail, and rentable event space. A new roof deck will overlook the outdoor tasting and gathering areas as well as the new still tower, the heart of the company’s spirit production. Curated outdoor experiences are at the core of TCWC and terraced seating areas, firepits, and a perched meadow for events overlooking neighboring vineyards celebrate that. A bold new public entry to the distillery features a long, horizontal angled canopy, which facilitates a true indoor / outdoor experience that embodies the values of “the whiskey of the North.”

When complete, visitors will experience tastings, retail, tours, events, and friendly gatherings in a modern, warm and inviting atmosphere that honors the adventurous spirit of “Up North” Michigan.

The one thing the team at MMA does superbly is they listen, they recycle and they take what is good and make it great. We would not have achieved the end vision without such a dynamic, fun and forward thinking team.
